RT22 in Montréal
Thanks to OPAL RT to welcome us in #RT22 in Montréal. We are now ready to present our Power Amplifiers solution in both technology Linear and switching.
OPAL-RT’s 14th annual conference on real-time simulation will take place in Montréal, Quebec from October 18th to 21st.
Over the last several years, we shared many examples of how OPAL-RT enabled our partners & customers to create profound changes across the power system & transportation industries. This year’s theme is ‘Energizing Tomorrow’. Our goal is to bring together engineers & researchers from around the world to discover the latest trends in real-time simulation–and to inspire one another to expand the boundaries, using these technologies to help build a better tomorrow.

IFREMER variable speed drives
Installed on the VICTOR 6000 since 2016 and integrated in a watertight enclosure resistant to a pressure of 625 bars (equivalent to 6000m depth). They are seven in number and "chained" by a CAN bus which ensures the dialogue between the drives and the surface. Six are dedicated to the electric propulsion of the robot, and the last one drives an electric motor that drives a hydraulic power station.
